    Thanks, Tony. A number of reasons for temporary closure, among them Blogger's(Google)bloody new format, which has caused me to inadvertently - and permanently - delete a whole load of comments I wanted to keep.

    Another reason was to test my opinion that very few people read the older blogs, and sad to say, this has been confirmed.

    I also wanted to keep the NATO stuff reasonably near the top of the list until the SNP Confrence on the 18th.
