Decisive, incisive Mundel? Afraid not - God help the Union!

This is the Scottish Tories - or rather, this is THE Scottish Tory - the only one at Westminster. Only the Borders could elect such a candidate. Only a desperate David Cameron could offer him a Scottish Office post.

Mundel, together with Michael Moore, Margaret Curran and Willie Bain constitute the Coalition for the Defence of the UK. Alex Salmond is terrified at the prospect ...

  3. Hi Peter,

Methinks Mr. Mundel speaks with forked tongue. The Tories have form on this - twice. Once with Alex Douglas-Home's "A vote against these proposals (the original Scottish Assembly) is not a vote against devolution" - only once they regained power it seemed that it was.

And secondly John Major's "taking stock". Which he did, and decided he liked things just as they were.

Can Mr. Mundel have any credibility when he speaks as he does. It would drive one to despair.

In fact it doesn't. He is so totally transparent that he must be worth his weight in gold to the "yes" side.

    Regards,
