      Thanks, Californian Crofter - that matters to us - the US matters to Scotland.

      It's 6.30 a.am here - I went to bed at one, been up since 5.00 am. That's how much independence means to a lot of Scots. I'm not a politician, just a voter.

      America showed us the way in 1776 - we're doing it less dramatically, but getting there - I hope ...
