Tut tut Peter, as you well know the price of oil is volatile and Scotland is therefore much better off letting Westminster handle the proceeds. We are doubly fortunate to benefit from such benevolence when you consider that no other oil producing country in the world has yet realised that oil is really a curse rather than a blessing. How blessed we are to be snug and safe in the bosom of the union.
