If anyone who finds my blog or my YouTube clips useful or relevant has a Kindle, take a look at my ebook - see right hand link to Amazon. At £1.71 it won’t break the bank. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Scottish politics, and be warned - it is a demanding, but I hope rewarding read.
You won’t make me rich, but you will make me feel better as I watch my Amazon ranking improve dramatically with each purchase!
I don't have a kindle but your link is not working.
ReplyDeleteIt's working OK when I click it, and I've also had a couple of friends try tonight with the same result. Sorry you had a problem, but thanks for trying, cynicalHighlander!
ReplyDeleteYou can download a Kindle reader for the computer from Amazon and read from that. Iff you ever get a Kindle, the book is then also available to you on that.
Downloaded kindle for computer and your book.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, looking forward to reading it, looks interesting.
I'll leave a comment on Amazon when it's read, though that may take some time, when it comes to fiction I'm slow.
Have to say, the quality of the kindle image on my computer is top.
It's a new computer with an HD screen, I may have found a new way to read books.
Thanks for that, natha - much appreciated. The first two chapters are devoted to establishing characters and the two locales, Scotland and Spain. The pace picks up in chapter three.
ReplyDeleteThe ebook experience takes a wee bit of getting used to, but once you're in, you're hooked. and there is an enormaous amount of free classic available.

ReplyDeleteIf you live outside the UK, you'll have to go to Amazon.com to download things.
Where does one find the free classic?
ReplyDeleteScottish republic (SR) is my moniker but I can never seem to get it as other than natha.
ReplyDeleteI was awfully proud of Salmond echoing Scottish clan/social/Burns tradition when he said, a Scot is 'anyone who chooses to call Scotland their home'.
I read the speech and saw but that little bit. I seem to be incapable of finding Scottish stuff on the net and iplayer doesn't work where I am.
Go to amazon.co.uk, type 'ebooks' in the search box, then select 'ebooks to download free' from the choices offered.
ReplyDeleteebook - see right hand link to Amazon.
ReplyDeleteDuh! dyslexic downside.
