“Look, there’s an example of just what I’ve been saying – that vicious, anonymous cybernat on Twitter, Strathearnrose! Scotsman I can reveal exclusively who she is, because her name’s right at the side of her Twitter ID – Roseanna Cunningham. You can’t fool me – oh, no!
And just look at what she says – she mentions Scotland, and Crieff – blatant Nationalist propaganda. No mention of England, or London, naw, that would never dae! And fireworks – that’s cybernat code for causing trouble, anybody can see that. And the very fact that she doesn’t mention me just goes to show the contempt with which cybernats treat an ex-leader like me.”

THE REAL IAIN GRAY - Scotsman EXTRACT
"For those that doubt the connections between the SNP and some of the cybernats, how about “Strathearnrose” who on 5 October tweeted: “At SNP mtg 2 encourage more social media uptake” then signed off “#evenmorecybernats”. Strathearnrose is of course Roseanna Cunningham, the minister currently taking through new legislation against offensive behaviour on the internet. There is that delicious irony again."
LOL How dare she post something positive about Scotland. Just shows how evil we Cybernats are (I'm an honorary one ;-) )
ReplyDeleteIndeed you are, Jeanne - and an honorary member of The Ancient Order of Moridura
ReplyDeleteThank you, Peter. I'm honored (sans u, you'll notice. We Americans like saving up our u's for later use)
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, my very existence infuriates some of the Cyberbrits. The bile that used to be directed my way from some of them on Blether with Brian was fairly startling. (I no longer bother with posting there, but not because of that)
They don't seem to understand how the American nation was formed, Jeanne - by declaring their independence of the British Empire. A recent interview and article by Time Time on Scotland and Salmond has roused them to fury.
ReplyDeleteIn desperation, they have picked up on a few factual errors in the later article. Their real problem is they can't stand the fact that the rest of world knows how many beans make five ...

ReplyDeleteI second Peter's affirmation of your cybenatic credentials.
ReplyDeleteBad link on my last comment, Jeanne - can't seem to get it to work. But try again!
ReplyDeleteTime interviews with Alex Salmond
Thank you, Stevie.
ReplyDeleteI have commented on that article and tweeted it. The LAST thing the Cyberbrits want is the millions of Americans who identify closely with Scotland to know the status of the Scottish nation and to take an active interest in it. God have mercy, we MIGHT even contribute to the SNP--and yes, legally, we can to a modest sum.
Thanks, Jeanne
ReplyDeleteNow that's a rebel!
ReplyDeleteA seven figure sum is not a cybernat, it's a movement.
